I started playing with this new app called Prisma the other day, and the filters that they provide are absolutely insane. In the below pictures you’ll be able to see how I took a number of my photos / instagram images and turned them into fully fledged pieces of artwork using their AI.
My favorites have to be the first five or six, but really all of the images I put through the filters were beautiful. If you like the images below you should also check out my post on the Waterlogue App. It does a lot of the same things, but turns your photos into watercolor paintings.

The thing that I find interesting is that both the geometric portion and the animal drawings on their own wouldn’t be particularly impressive, but the pairing of the two, and the way that he combines them so fluidly is amazing.

Despite their penchant to contract Chlamydia Kat still loves koalas. Since she had been bugging me for art I decided to craft her a cuddly little Koala a couple of weeks ago.
Using some nice drawing paper, pencile, and pen I drafted out benjamin, colored him in with ink, and dramed him in a nice black frame with matting.
For some reason, after showing Kat her new koala I decided I was going to name him Benjamin. No reason. He just looked like a Benjamin.

It’s 85% done at this point, but I’m too excited about it so I have to post it right now. Here is a sneak peak of my next art project. You can see in the picture all of the cool ways you can view it.
There is a physical piece, and then I built a really awesome web builder that lets you customize the frame, put the piece through Instagram filters, change the layout, as well as sort the pieces in a bunch of cool ways.
Stay tuned for the actual page. I’ll be publishing it towards the end of the week! For those that just can’t wait here’s an animated gif of the builder.

I took some time the other day to play with a fun new app called Waterlogue. With this app you upload photos, and it will transform them into watercolor paintings based on a number of predefined filters similar to Instagram.
I love this app. I found it through the Mashable best apps of the year post, and I can’t stop myself from playing with it. Take a look at some of the photos I generated below.
