It’s fall and the pumpkins are starting to ripen. Every knows October is right around the corner, and we thought it only appropriate to throw out some pumpkin recipes. Here are some pumpkin spice cupcake recipes that we found and thought deserved some recognition.
Here is a nice pumpkin spice cupcake recipe from Betty Crocker. one ingredient that you never think about is ginger. Most of the recipes in this post contain ginger, which is one of those subtle tastes that goes unnoticed in many of these recipes.
This recipe also calls for pecans, which you may choose to include at your own discretion. It does add a really nice touch to the presentation of the cupcakes though.
This pumpkin spice cupcake recipe asks for pumpkin puree, which might be a little harder if you are in college. You might be able to get away with canned pumpkin. Either way, this recipe is delicious, and you should try to make it according to plan.
You can buy candy pumpkins to put on your pumpkin spice cupcakes at most places that sell candy in the fall. This is only if you are trying to make your cupcakes look cute like the one in this picture.
This last pumpkin spice cupcake recipe is from Smitten Kitchen and has absolutely stellar pictures to go along with the cooking directions. The ornate whipped topping on these cupcakes is what makes them shine
